Hold. Speak. Done.

Symon is the voice on your Mac. Hold a key, say what you mean, release — and clean, corrected text lands where your cursor already was. Then it learns to read your screen, answer questions, and act.

01Listen

A key you already own.

No app to open, no window to find. Hold fn anywhere on the Mac, speak, and release — the line lands in whatever you were already using. A tap shorter than a breath pastes nothing; double-tap fn for long-form.

02Polish

Make the text right — not just transcribed.

Apple's recognizer listens live. The moment you release, Whisper re-transcribes and supersedes it, then a Gemini pass corrects, punctuates, and applies your dictionary and tone. The spoken word always wins. That's the leap from dictation to something that reads like you wrote it.

03Read & Ask

From writing to reading — then answering.

Highlight anything and have it read aloud. Or hold Right-Option and just ask — Symon answers out loud, using what's on your screen as context. Speaking became listening became a conversation.

04Act

When dictation becomes an agent.

Select text, hold Option, say the verb — it rewrites in place, with a Revert chip. Ask “what needs me?” and Symon walks your approvals by voice. The same spoken grammar now reaches the world — and anything that changes it passes through o8's governance gate first.

05The dock

One element. Every state.

It all lives in a single dock that morphs — a quiet sliver at rest, a living waveform while it listens, a green underline when the text lands, a panel when it answers. Nothing to manage. It's just there when you hold the key.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Talking beats typing.

I built Symon because I was tired of typing. Now I talk to my Mac all day — dictate, rewrite a line, ask the screen — and the text comes out clean.

I run a homecare company, so I live in email and notes. I just talk and Symon writes it the way I would. Easily an hour back in my day.

Mid-session I'll forget how a plugin routes. I hold the key and ask — Symon reads what's on my screen and tells me. I never break flow to go look it up.

Framework names, my variables, all the jargon — I taught it once and it never fumbles them. I dictate commit messages and Slack replies without fixing a thing.
